Course Outline

Registration is now closed. This webinar will comprise short presentations with case-based discussion about difficult upper limb fractures, with specific reference to the surgical approach, as well as tips and tricks for successful outcomes in complex cases.

The webinar will be recorded and provided to registered attendees who registered to attend prior to the event, but were unable to attend on the night. The recording will be available for a four week period only.

Assumed Knowledge

Basic fracture management techniques and principles including:
i. IM Nail
ii. Plating
iii. Soft tissue management
iv. Upper limb anatomy and standard approaches

Educational Objectives

The aims of the webinar are:
• Describe the assessment for complex trauma of the upper limb.
• Explain the management principles and options for complex upper limb trauma.
• Avoiding, recognizing, and managing complications in upper limb trauma.
