OTC South Pacific

OTC South Pacific is a non-profit organisation committed to the education of orthopaedic registrars & junior consultants. The focus is on trauma education for registrars, and the purpose is:-

To advance the science and art of musculoskeletal treatment in the South Pacific through the conduct, sponsorship and support of research, education and training.

OTC courses complement the SET training program from junior through to senior registrars and newly qualified consultants. Specifically, OTC South Pacific concentrates on delivering high quality interactive courses involving anatomical specimens and a low student to instructor ratio of 4:1 or less. These courses offer delegates valuable hands-on practical experience in surgical approaches.

Unfortunately, due to the spread and ongoing threat of coronavirus, OTC has had to take the decision to cancel the Foot & Ankle Course and the Lower Limb Dissection Course which were to be held in November for the safety of all attendees. Thank-you for your understanding and patience.

Committee News

OTC South Pacific would like to congratulate Mr Ian Young, Professor Mark Rickman and Dr Andrew Gong in being re-elected to the OTC Committee as Vice President, Director of Education and Treasurer respectively.
