Course Outline

Course is now full and we are no longer accepting applications.

This is an interactive course involving informal presentations, discussion and hands on cadaveric dissection workshops, based in a small group environment. Anatomy teaching and surgical demonstration of standard & alternative exposures of the shoulder, elbow & forearm plus in upper limb will be covered. This course will include presentations and cadaver sessions. The maximum ratio for cadaveric workshops will be 4:1.

This course has been accredited by the AOA for 7 CPD points.

Educational Objectives

This is an interactive course involving informal presentations, discussion and hands on cadaveric dissection workshops, based in a small group environment.

Anatomy teaching and surgical demonstration of standard & alternative exposures of the shoulder, elbow & forearm plus in upper limb will be covered.

This course will include presentations and cadaver sessions & is designed for Pre-Set, Set 1-2 registrars.

The maximum ratio for cadaveric workshops will be 4:1.

Course Pre-requisites

i. Course is designed for Pre-Set & Set 1-2 and priority registration will be given to these applicants.
ii. Delegates are required to undertake self-directed pre-reading of topics covering: anatomy and standard exposures & basic principles in nailing and plating.
