Course Outline

This course focuses on external fixation principles and indications using sawbones. It will be delivered by lectures, case-based discussions and hands-on workshops.

The faculty will share methods, experiences, opinions and tips on the indications and biomechanics for external fixators.

Topics will include principles of framing with traditional and circular ring fixators using Hoffmann and LRF.

The maximum ratio for workshops will be 4:1 for delegates to each station.
